We have set aside a part of the fruit field just beside the Fruit Barn as a place for families to sit out and relax after some serious picking, with space for toddlers and kids of all ages to charge around, play in the sand, explore our Willow domes or jump around on the bales.
We’ve made sure the area still feels very natural and rustic: lots of wood, sand and grass as well as the hugely popular Hay Bale Hill, and with a secure fence to keep inquisitive little ones safe. So whilst the younger ones bounce around the bales, go exploring or potter in the sand, parents and grand-parents have the chance to put their feet up with a fresh cup of coffee, a pot of tea or a freshly made smoothie and enjoy the countryside.
